Chile Customs Affidavit

The Chile Customs Affidavit, also known as the SAG Declaration, is a mandatory form for travelers aged 18 and over entering Chile.

It helps protect Chile's agriculture and natural environment by identifying potentially harmful goods brought into the country.

You must declare plants, seeds, fruit, meat, dairy products, and other animal or plant products, even if they're intended for personal consumption.

You must complete the declaration whether or not you're carrying restricted items. Failure to declare relevant goods can result in fines or confiscation.

The affidavit is not a visa or entry authorization. If you need a visa, apply separately.
