What Is the New Zealand Traveller Declaration?
The New Zealand Traveller Declaration (NZTD) is a mandatory arrival form for travelers entering New Zealand by air or sea, including New Zealand citizens and residents.
It replaces the former paper Passenger Arrival Card and collects travel, customs, immigration, and biosecurity information.
You must declare items such as food, plants, animal products, and other goods that could pose a biosecurity risk.
Your digital declaration is linked to your passport and checked when you arrive. Transit passengers who remain in the airport's transit area are generally exempt.
